Steve Jobs

I do not contest why you do not have an Apple/Mac nor do I encourage you to have one. =) There are certain arguments that I agree on and others which I may seemed to be on the partial side. Anyhow, I guess why do I "adore" Mr. Jobs? It is because he has a drive. He is cunning. He always wants more and won't settle for less. His charisma is overflowing that sometime it emanates how a leader is or even a demi-God. He is as great as Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein! =) From what he has little he made into something big. Apple sells the most number of music MP3 players (iPods) in the whole world. It boasts the best smartphone (iPhone4) in the world and the best and #1 tablet (iPad) bar none! These gadgets they are material things yep; but deep inside the core of these techie stuff lies a bit more and a story behind each one. I have watched product presentations of Apple every year now since 2008 I think and it feels so different last October 4, when they launched the iPhone4s. I suddenly felt uninterested. I felt bored because he was not there. Whenever Mr. Jobs ended his talks and presentations, there is that little extra that I (Mac-Addict) always look forward to.

Apple was way behind Windows back then. It was not as big as it is today. Ironically, Mr. Jobs was ousted from the company he built but then came back and glorified the company. There is magic in him. He owns that.

These Apple/Mac machines has built my life. They have accompanied me from the happiest of days and the worst of times. They are my best-est of best friends. I know it's a crazy thing, but I am sure since you live far from home you feel that your computer is the one that connects you to home. It is so striking. Mr. Jobs with his machines made life easier for me. It is not a Windows vs Mac thing. I view owning a Mac speaks about who you are and what you want to do and that you are not bounded and limited to the many things there are in life. =)

My family owns 4 Mac Laptops, 5 iPhones, 1 iPad, 3iPods and more to come. =) We bond using our Macs. =) Extended family Macs not included. =)

Re: NY Fashion Week: Christian Siriano

I like the lime green skirt and the flowing orange...I wish I can have them for my prenup pictorial!!!!

Re: Move, Eat, Learn

this is great. i liked the MOVE part. wish i could do all that traveling in this lifetime. where'd you find this?

Re: Models Without Makeup

Thank you.

Re: Models Without Makeup

Bookmarked, I really like your blog! :)

Re: About Me

Thanks Mabel!

Re: About Me

nice blog tina. we really need to blog to express ourselves when we are away from our home country. For example in the Eastern Cape they like to use the word "lank". ie, I'm lank tired, it's lank expensive etc.

I hope a few road trips are on your to-do list so you can experience what our beloved country is truly like everywhere. :)

Jono

Re: How’d I Get Here???

Thanks, Carl!
